Hyundai Ai3 SUV spied testing in India for the first time. The new entry-level SUV from the South Korean carmaker is scheduled to go on sale by Diwali this year.
It will be based on the K1 platform that underpins the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. This meaty SUV will be positioned unelevated the Hyundai Venue.
The spy shot of the prototype makes it squint like a tallboy hatchback rather than a meaty SUV. It looks quite spacious and zappy in the first glance. It comes with large windows and a spaced out cabin.

It is likely to get styling inspired by the latest Hyundai SUVs on sale. It is expected to be 3.8 metres long and get the same 1.2-litre petrol engine from the Grand i10 Nios withal with the option of CNG. To compete with the Tata Punch and Citroen C3.
Hyundai will embark production of the Ai3 by the July-August quarter and start deliveries by September or October 2023.
